Payne Center for Leadership Development
About
The Payne Center for Leadership Development (PCLD) provides leadership resources to students across all disciplines and departments. Our integrated programs and services offer students a deeper understanding of leadership in the Jesuit context of self, community, and our world. For a comprehensive list of campus engagement and leadership opportunities please visit our Payne Center for Leadership Development webpage.
For new and current students interested in leadership development opportunities, the PCLD, located in the Hemmingson University Center, can assist you in finding ways to get involved on campus. The PCLD offers workshops to develop practical leadership skills, guest speakers, and access to a leadership library of online and print materials. Experiential learning is enhanced through real-time coaching, mentoring, and ongoing reflection with LRC staff and other community members. The PCLD is home to the Experiential Leadership Institute (ELI), a year-long program that engages sophomores in a variety of leadership experiences and reflection. For upperclassmen, the LRC can help students reflect upon and utilize their leadership experiences to prepare for life after Gonzaga.
The PCLD is also home to Gonzaga's Community of Leaders consisting of all students who positively inspire, lead, inform, and impact the campus community in any way.
