GURU

GURU is in its 21st year as a club sports team. We have placed as high as 6th in the Northwest Regionals tournament and are an extremely competitive frisbee team on the west coast. We travel and compete against schools all over the region from California to Utah. We strive to teach all the most basic frisbee skills to beginners while giving more experienced players a place to compete at the highest level. We practice 3 times a week and typically travel to about 3 tournaments per semester.

All that being said the most important part of GURU is the ultimate community that we create at Gonzaga. Five years ago we went through a complete rebuilding phase and emerged stronger than ever. We organize events and team gatherings to hang out on weekends and in our free time. The ultimate frisbee team at Gonzaga is a great way to get involved and toss the disc at the same time.
